This ceremonial-grade matcha is sourced from Okabe-cho, Fujieda City in Shizuoka, an area known for producing matcha with clarity, balance, and fragrance.
Made using first-flush tea leaves, this matcha is finely milled to highlight its natural sweetness and gentle umami. When prepared, it offers a deep, fragrant aroma with a soft, well-rounded flavour and minimal bitterness.
Crafted specifically for usucha, Okabe matcha is light, elegant, and approachable - ideal for daily enjoyment and traditional tea preparation alike.
